The Bell + Bantam™ name is inspired by a once ubiquitous feature of the American farmhouse: The dinner bell.

When the bell was rung at noon, it meant that food, comfort, and camaraderie for hardworking men and women was at hand, prepared in a bustling kitchen.

One common design motif was a rooster sitting atop the bell. The word “Bantam”, in addition to being a type of rooster, also stands for something small and tough, speaking to the reliability of the products that bear its name. The double name also connotes a feeling of trusted history and tradition which when portrayed in a modern way is the perfect blend of modern and classic.
